Choose the right export for your website
A downloadable website and a development specification serve different purposes. Choose the website format for your hosting, then add AI Handoff if you want to continue with an assistant.

HTML: files for hosting and custom development
Choose HTML when you want page markup, styles, scripts and assets that you can inspect directly. It is a practical choice for a portfolio or business presentation that does not need WordPress content management. Keep the exported directory structure intact when uploading.
Static pages can run on static hosting. Server-processed forms and other backend behavior need compatible server support and configuration. Test the exported interactions on the actual host before publishing the address to visitors.
WordPress: an independent theme
Choose WordPress when the destination is a WordPress site. The export is an installable theme with source files a developer can edit. It does not depend on Elementor or another page-builder plugin to display the generated design.
Install on a staging environment first and review the resulting pages, menus and content. A theme does not replace the WordPress installation, hosting or integrations your business needs. Keep a copy of any custom changes before uploading a later export.
AI Handoff: project context for continued work
AI Handoff generates structured specifications and assistant instructions. It describes the project, components, design system and responsive behavior. Use it alongside the HTML or WordPress source when asking an external assistant to extend the website.
The handoff package is not itself a deployable website and does not run an AI service. Give the assistant a focused task, review its changes and verify the resulting pages before moving them to production.
Before downloading and publishing
Save your project while signed in, preview every page and choose the export from the builder. HTML and WordPress exports are subject to your account limits. Guest visitors can try editing and previewing, but need an account for saving and exports.
Check titles, links, images, responsive navigation and form behavior after upload. Hosting and domains are separate. Direct FTP or SFTP publishing from the builder is Coming soon; the current workflow uses a download and your own hosting tools.
