Terms of Service

1. The service

AlinaWeb is a visual builder for creating websites that you can export as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and assets or as a WordPress theme, with optional tools such as SEO Studio and AI Handoff. We may add, change or remove features; paid features and limits depend on your plan.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Your content and exported code

You keep ownership of the content you upload or create (text, images, designs). You give us a limited licence to host, process and display it solely to operate the service for you, for example saving projects, rendering previews and generating exports.

Exported files are yours to use and modify, including commercially. They may contain third-party components (for example animation or icon libraries) that remain under their own licences; the exports list them in a licence notice file that you should keep when you publish.

You are responsible for your content and for the websites you publish, including legal notices, privacy policies and cookie consent on those websites.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use AlinaWeb to:

• break the law or infringe the rights of others, including intellectual property and privacy;
• publish or distribute malware, phishing, scams, spam or deceptive pages;
• publish content that is unlawful, hateful, abusive, sexually exploitative of minors or that incites violence;
• try to access other accounts, probe or disrupt the service, bypass limits or overload our infrastructure;
• resell or sublicense the service itself without our written permission.

We may remove content or suspend access that breaches these rules.

5. Plans and payments

The Free plan has usage limits. Paid plans, prices, limits and renewal or cancellation conditions are shown when you choose a plan or in your account. If a paid plan ends or lapses, features that need it may be limited to the Free plan level; your projects remain yours and you can still export what the Free plan allows.

6. Third-party services

The service can connect to third-party services at your request, such as Google sign-in and Google Search Console. Their terms and privacy policies apply to those services. Optional features that load third-party resources in your exported websites (for example fonts from Google Fonts) are your choice and responsibility.

7. AI features

AI Handoff prepares structured files for you to use with an assistant of your choice. Other assistive features may generate suggestions automatically. Suggestions can be inaccurate or incomplete; review them before you use or publish them. You remain responsible for the final content.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may carry out maintenance. We may update these terms; if a change is material we will tell you in advance by email or in the app. Continuing to use the service after the change means you accept it.

9. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms, if required by law, or if your use creates risk for the service or others. Where reasonable, we will tell you why and give you a chance to export your work.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. SEO suggestions and reports are guidance only and we do not guarantee search rankings, traffic or results.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AlinaWeb is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, loss of profits, data or goodwill, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim (or EUR 100 if you use the Free plan). Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

12. Your responsibility

You agree to be responsible for claims arising from the content you publish with AlinaWeb or from your breach of these terms, to the extent permitted by law.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country where AlinaWeb is established, and the courts of that country have jurisdiction, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
